Beatriz del Álamo from Ciudad Real, Spain, is a professional illustrator with a degree in Art from the University of Granada. She has a master’s degree in Illustration. Beatriz has 7+ years of experience, which includes 7+ children’s picture books, cover designs, working with a publisher, and much more.
Ben Askew
Ben Askew is an author / illustrator from Southwest Missouri. Remaining illiterate until the 6th grade, Ben experienced drawing as an escape from his embarrassment. Now, Ben wants to build a passion for reading in kids! For Ben and his own three children, bedtime is filled with fantastic stories.

Frank Bowen is in Goiânia, Brazil. He grew up passionate about creativity, painting, and illustration with diff erent types of materials. He currently owns Bowmen Studio, which focuses on children’s book illustrations. Frank really enjoys experimenting with new artistic techniques in his works.

Mariano Epelbaum has worked as a character designer, illustrator, and animator since 1996 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has many awards and nominations for his work in fi m & print. Mariano has worked on several projects in picture books, television, and film, including the 3D animated feature film “Underdogs.”

Yasmin Garcia is from Houston, Texas. She has spent time studying and working with traditional art media. Now that her three girls are older, Yasmin is looking to get back into art. This is her first entry into the wonderful world of children’s picture books.
Richard Hoit
Richard Hoit is from Papamoa, Tauranga, New Zealand. As a child, he had a passion for drawing that never stopped. He has worked as a freelance illustrator for 25+ years. With a love for interpreting manuscripts and bringing them to life with his illustrations, his works are seen globally.
